I have an SL Die Erleuchtung preamp with a pretty new set of tubes. Here's the skinny.
1) I can hear a record playing regardless of the preamp setting. Volume control only matters when phono has been selected. At least something is good.
2) I can hear the record at the same time as I am playing a CD, if CD has been selected on the preamp.
3) I can hear CD's with no volume regardless of settings.
4) I had a hum. Two days went by and it became a popping sound. Now, it is gone.
I am curious if anyone has ever experienced this before. I realize that these issues may not be related. Also, I am in contact with Klaus for his input, too. Thank you.
