I noticed in a past thread (regarding potential mods to the Lavry DA10) you mentioned that it may be relatively easy to add an I2S input on a DAC with the CS8414 receiver.  Does this hold true for the CS8416 as well?  I'm contemplating using a DAC with this receiver along with your SB3/Pace Car if it is not too price prohibitive.

It is certainly possible, but I dont have any board designed for this.  The board that I have is for a CS8414.  Rather than designing another I2S interface board, I am spending all of my "free" time designing my own "Formula One" DAC now.  I hope to have a proto to demo at CES in January.
