Fluke 187 versus 287

Curious - I'm in the market for a DMM, and am wondering if anyone has compared the new Fluke 287/9 to the older 187/9. I'm not even sure what's 'new & improved" in the 287/9.
Thanks,

You might poke around or ask over on Head-Fi in the DIY section, or check on DIYAudio. I found this thread on HeadFi, but it doesn't have much info -

I have a Fluke 87 and a Wavetek/Meterman. Someday I need to get the Fluke calibrated.
