FS: Studio gear for PC based audio production

The whole works except for microphones (those will be offered separately):

* Mackie VLZ Pro 1202 mixing board

* Pair NHTPro/Vergence M-00 powered monitors

* Digital Audio Labs CardDeluxe Pro audio PC interface card

* 4 16-foot high-quality TRS to TRS balanced cables

* 2 12-foot high-quality TRS to TRS balanced cables.

* 2 12-foot lower quality TRS to TRS balanced cables (came with monitors.)

* One 2-channel level translator transformer (converts balanced pro level to single-ended consumer level signals

* All appropriate power cords.

Everything is in extremely good condition cosmetically and functionally.  The DAL PCI card has 4 1/4" TRS jacks (2 inputs and 2 outputs)and SPDIF (can be converted to AES/EBU) and the levels on the audio ins/outs can be jumper selected to -10dB (consumer level) or +4 dB (pro level).  This is an excellent, studio quality audio interface card and has ASIO and WDM drivers available for use with any audio applications (As far as I can tell there are no Mac drivers available, but they may be available in the open source community, but that's something you'll have to figure out for yourself if you are a Mac user.)

The zMackie mixing board has 12 channels -- 4 XDR mic preamps with adjustable gain, plus 4 sets of stereo inputs.  There are channel inserts for each mic preamp input.  All Mackie documentation is online if you have more specific questions -- modelVLZ Pro 1202.

The monitors are the NHTPro M-00s (formerly made by Vergence) and have a fabric dome tweeter and a 4-1/2" mid/bass driver and each driver has it's own amplifier.  These are excellent little monitors (can sit on your desktop) with extremely good sound quality and that can peak at 111 dB if you're so inclined.  Inputs are single ended RCA, balanced TRS and XLR, and there are switches to switch from nearfield to mid-field response, and consumer or pro level input signals.  They are hefty, cast aluminum and fully shielded and have an auto-on sense mode.

Cables (with the exception of the 2 12 footers that came with the monitors) were all custom made by a local pro audio gear company and I believe they are Mogami wire and either Neutrik or Switchcraft connectors -- not cheap.

I'm selling this as a package only and for the rediculous price of $525 (plus 3% for paypal) plus will split shipping.

The mixer was $450, the monitors $375 each, and the DAL audio card another $400, plus at least another couple hundred for the custom cabling.  I forget what the level translator transformer cost, but probably less than $50.

All of this stuff is, as I said, in excellent condition, and has been used to record, edit, mix, and master some very fine recordings, plus was used to do a bunch of vinyl restorations.

Why am I selling?  Basically because I don't use it near enough anymore to justify keeping it around, and the money is needed a lot more.

PM or email with any questions.

Thanks,

Jim

Bump.

Great deal on great gear at a nearly give-away price.

Also check in with the new Home Recording circle in the special interest section.
