Getting prepared... I definitely have limited space and if it can fit in a regular entertainment center behind glass rack... for 4K - 4500.
Thanks for all your help.

Take a look at emotiva.com.  They sell a dual mono stereo amp. RPA-1 is the one.

electrocompaniet makes excellent s/s dual-mono amps.  the aw70 retails for $2700, the aw2x120 for $5k, the aw250dmb for $6700.  every so often these show up used.  these amps have incredible current output, & are stable w/loads down to 0.5 ohms.  i have an older pair of aw75dmb's that i still use for my subwoofers.  gotta have tubes on my mains...

speaking of tubes...   8)  i would strongly recommend this amp; (i also own one); i think it would be a superb match w/the sp-tech speakers:

definitely don't want this one in a regular entertainment center behind a glass rack, tho!

Mike:

I am driving a pair of Timepiece 2.1's with all of the 3.0 features except the wooden face.  I am using the Odyssey Strato Mono SEs.  The nice thing about the Monos is that they do not run hot so you could probably use them in a cabinet.

When do you expect to receive you Timepieces?

Ken - perhaps you meant "they don't run hot"?  Mine sure don't :)

how long do the timepieces take to build? Im not sure if anyone has received the 3.0s yet...
I wonder if I will sell the merlons after hearing them.

Owning the Merlins for awhile myself and having heard the Revelations a little (both on the Odyssey SE's), I can say they come at the musical experience from two totally different directions, though both very, very good.  The only commonality I can think of is they're both 2-ways that are designed by mega-passionate designers sweating every little detail.

Mike:

I think it probably depends on whether Mundorf and the other suppliers are meeting their shipping commitments to Bob.  I believe I read one of his recent threads where the suppliers were very slow.  I believe I received delivery in approximately 3 months after I placed the order.
