Hola,
So i have a wonderful Rega planar 3.  I've moved across the world from rainy Vancouver to sunny Brisbane Australia... which has 220v 50hz instead of 120v 60hz.
A photocopy of a Rega shop manual states how to convert it over to use the different power.   A resistor change, a capacitor change.  Easy right?
Well, after some part swapping, i'm within 2% of the spec'd resistor value and 4% of the capacitance asked.  Seems not bad, should be alright?
Thing runs slow!   Like hilariously slow.   What could it be?   I did have to parallel some caps to get the right value, but that shouldn't be a factor...
Any ideas?  Anyone done a Rega power supply conversion and live to tell about it?  I'm hoping to avoid the 'change a value, test, ponder, change a value, test, repeat' scenario.
Cheers,
/Adam
