That sounds great Rick! I look forward to coming and meeting all of you. I live on Holly Springs border in So Cary.

Thanks to Drew for hosting and to you for hauling over the big stuff. If you need any help setting up or bringing chips let me know.

I was privileged to hear RichardS's Selah line source speakers last week, awesome!!

Sorry for the late reply but I'm still trying to catch up after taking a much needed vacation last week. I look forward to meeting you and everyone else.

We had a great time listening and visiting (probably more visiting than listening actually). Probably around 20 people (all guys) showed. Drew's room provided a great location, about 18 x 24. We listened to Rick's Selah RC4 with powered sub, which sounded really nice -- the Seas and Founteks make a nice pairing -- similar to the drivers in Rick's line arrays that I use at home. Dynamic and open with great detail, though maybe a little too much bass overhang. But then, I'm used to room correction. Driven by a prototype amp and either Drew's modded 'Original' CD player or a Red Wine-modded Olive.

I'd suggest that next time we have an agenda for listening/socializing -- or use two different rooms -- so we can listen at times without all the talking, but still catch up with everyone. And maybe some comparisons to make it interesting. Anyway, it was fun....
