very well balanced at GL 4100/4000(got this info from seller). The 5751 is identical to the 12ax7 variety but with about 25-30% less gain(makes for quieter system). I bought these from a reputable Agon seller back in April 07 and have only used them for about 2-3 hrs max! Very nice sounding tubes for the $$.
