I bought this preamp/dac/cd player as brand new old stock unit aprox. 2 years ago and used it as a complete,
one box front end. The CD-Pre24 mated with a good power amp and a pair of speakers makes a very simple, yet
versatile system.
A few months ago I added a Modwright preamp and then just used the CD-Pre24 as a player and dac, also with
excellent results.
