Spazz "A Prayer For The Complete And Utter Eradication Of All Generic Pop-Punk"
A bit shy of forever, but it does need to be listened to at least four times in a row for me.

Once a friend and I listened to "Never Going Back Again" by Fleetwood Mac on repeat for quite a few times on a road trip.  For some reason it worked.  Maybe because of the ostinato, so it can loop back onto itself.  Not that it's the greatest song ever or anything.

Perhaps Pink Floyd "Atom Heart Mother Suite" because it's so long you might not notice the repeats.

Ulver-Bergtatt
"Svelen gaaer bag aase need"
It has an acoustic guitar\flute intro that is so beautiful I had to cut it out of the rest of the song and loop it with crossfades so it works like a longer, continuous tune of its own.

Hmm..  "The L-train is a swell train and i don't want to hear you indies complain"  by OutHud   would be my choice.

It helps that its 12:19 mins long!  Brilliant track IMHO

forevermore  :o :o :o

No, impossible!

Our Australian National broadcaster the ABC used to play Herb Alperts "Walk in the Black Forest", when there was a break in transmission. I suspect somebody in the organization had a perverse sense of humour as it really was [is] a track designed to drive you crazy in the shortest possible time.

:duh:  Is this the song that was originally done by Horst Jankowski?  If so, I feel your pain.  The last time I heard the song played was in 1966 and I still cannot get it out of my head!!

" They're Coming To Take Me Away " because that's what would happen if I had to play one song on repeat forever .  :icon_lol:

Yes, yes ... that's the one! Written by Horst [now you tweak my memory] and with trumpet by Herb, who was highly overrated as a trumpet player.

There was a year long long ago when I had Miles Davis "He loved Him madly" on repeated play day after day for about 5 months...32+ minutes of riding along a rollercoaster of a melody, hearing different sound on each hearing...

"I Saw Her Standing There" by the Beatles.

It was the first song I went mental over when I was like 6 years old. Played it over, and over, and over....

Still love that song.  :thumb:

It rocks!  :guitar: :drums:

Cheers

Atom Heart Mother.......yeah, maybe..........."silence in the studio.......!"

Or, in light of the passing of Hughie Thomasson:

"Green Grass and High Tides Forever"

(Although certainly not forever. Or any other song, for that matter.)

Can't believe no one else mentioned Hughie's passing.
