In my system, the Oyaide 046's upgrade (compared to the standard Wattgates) gave a noticeably silky smoother and grain-free midrange along with more resolving highs and better soundstaging and depth. Bass very tight and well controlled. These advantages were even more pronounced due to the exceptional synergy when the cable was plugged into an Oyaide AC receptacle although you could hear the significant advantages when I plugged it into a PS Audio power port or an FIM 880 outlet.
I am the original owner of this power cord and these were custom ordered from John of Black Sand directly and are less than 3 months old. I'm selling to upgrade to the Black Sand Statement Ones!
