I attended a seminar last night featuring Peter Becker from Criterion, and he mentioned that this week was the 10th anniversary of the very first DVD player introduced to the consumer market.  Has it really only been 10 years???  Its hard for me to remember the time before DVDs were available....

  Shoot...10years? Feels like 20.
Last year I gave my very first dvd player(a JVC) I bought to a good friend. It was big as those 'antique' VHS players.
