Hi All.

I know there were several parties interested in the new AMBROSIA preamp, and the AMPZilla and SOA amps over the pst several months.

James left me a message that most of the line will have a Price Increase July 1st.

I don't have the exact pricing yet, but would expect to have it Monday.

Earlier, in another thread Brian stated that after some months of use he felt the Ambrosia was the finest preamplifier he had ever had in his system. Long known as  a man of few words, he now qualifies as a man who is also a master of understatement! I totally agree for it is one fantastic piece of gear. If you can afford it you don't want to live without it. Just don't expect to get it quick for James is not very fast on filling his orders.

Hi Paul,

I am so glad you are enjoying the sonic quality of the AMBROSIA.

I'm sure you have discovered that it is a "little quircky", in that it operates a little differently than other Pre's, but those quirks are due to the technology that makes it so great.

And Paul is correct, James does not have them lined up to ship off the shelf in 24 hours.

How much is the Ambrosia anyway? no price is mentioned in Jim's web site...

I don't think its that quirky, John. True it does operate a bit differently but that is  definitely with purpose! Actually I don't think it took me more that 15 minutes to get used to it and I am not too swift on the uptake.

It is currently $5950 but will be going up July 1st.

I'll try and get the price increases from James tomorrow.

BTW, my unit which  arrived May 25th does not have the center decoration. As such it is far more attractive, IMHO. In reality the unit looks quite nice, much better than its pictures.

WhoYa!!!! :o :o :o

Just spoke with James, and the price increase is going to be pretty substantial.

As of July 1st, it is as follows:

AMBROSIA Preamp = $7499

AMPZilla 2000 Monoblocs = $7499 pr

Son of AMPZilla = $4250

TriNaural Processor = $1999

Anyone considering these units should (if possible) make sure your order is place in time to have it processed and in place before July 1st.
