Nothing personal mind you  aa, just wondering how many times a week you guys listen to vinyl and how long your listening sessions are?

I listen almost everyday averaging 3 albums, with Friday nights and Saturday afternoons in extended play.

Because of what I do, I listen to music about 8 hours a day.
Up until three weeks ago, when I got my Sooloos music server,
I probably listened to vinyl about half of my day.  Now, probably
about 1-2 hours a day.

It really just depends on what I'm in the middle of and how convenient
it is to keep getting up to flip records.  If I'm editing copy, Ill just
line up about 5 hours of music on the Sooloos and forget about it.

But if I'm working on photos, then I really like to flip records!

8-9 hours daily for about 200 days a year...maybe 2-3 hours on the other 100 weekend days.  I'm away, either with family or on business the other 65 days a year.

I rarely listen critically as I listen to music all day long.  I'm also somewhat ADD 

So, probably about 2000 hours yearly...about 75% with vinyl.  Unless it's real busy in my office - it's worth the flipping every 20 minutes (or hit repeat on fully auto-mode and hear side again - I use LAST Record Preservative on all my albums, so the wear shouldn't be notable playing it a second time in only 20 minutes)

For me, it varies all over the place. Depends on the music. Hmmm, I guess out of the 15 or so hours (weekly) I spend 'seriously' listening to music..maybe 1/3 of the time it's vinyl; 1/3 of the time it's tape; and 1/3 of the time it's CD. For 'casual' listening it's 100 % digital..which consumes another 15 hours , or so, weekly.

With vinyl, there simply is no 'casual' listening....it demands your full attention.
