Some of you may remember a while back I had a compatibility problem with my speed box and Xpression TT.  In that thread I posted that Sumiko's position was that some early models of the Xperssion were incompatible with the speed box and thats was that.  However the guys at The Needle Dr, wanted to help me get to where I wanted to go and did a might fine job of helping to resolve the situation.  Which was that I wanted to get the most out of a decent TT without breaking the bank .  To do that I had purchased a Speedbox, a Ringmat and a Sumiko blackbird (the word in the press was that the Xpression could accomidate such a cartridge).  So now I got all this stuff and it's not working together.  Now, the guys at The Needle Dr.  ask me to box up the TT and the Speedbox and send them in and lest see what we can work out to get you where you are trying to go musically.  To make a long story short I purchased a Pro-ject RM9.1.  BABY!!!!! I can honestly say the Dr. has given me the good stuff to sooth my pains.  The 9.1/speedbox/ringmat combo is amazing.  Lots of slam, detail bass and treble extension that goes on foe ever.  Well as soon as I get off I'm going straight home and have a vinyl fest (all week end). :green:
