Hi all,

I'm having custom loudspeakers made to work with my Atma-Sphere M60 amps, so these phenomenal Firebirds must go.

They are magical at low/mid listening volumes - my 60W per channel OTLs simply can't drive them above about 75 dB without strain.

I bought them essentially brand new  in September, 2005 from the fellow who assembled crossovers for Talon. I live 90 miles from where Talons are built, so I picked them up at the factory. They have never been shipped.

I have no crates, so I'm selling the Firebirds for $6000 - way below value - for local pickup only. For a bit of perspective, a new pair is on sale at 'Gon by a Chicago dealer for $19,995 plus shipping. I suppose if you are able to have Talon/Rives ship me a pair of crates I can arrange for ABF freight in Ogden to send up a truck for delivery at your expense.

North Logan, Utah sits in a valley surrounded by picturesque mountains and is beautiful this time of year. We're 30 miles off Interstate 15 and 75 miles north of Salt Lake City - easy western driving.

PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE TO MY CLASSIFIED:

I really don't want to ship these speakers - too risky for me given their size and weight.

It's a local sale only. Please don't ask me to reconsider. If the Firebirds are a good match for your system you'll never find a better deal.
