I just wanted to let the public know about a good experience I had getting my Revelation III preamp serviced by Stan at Superphon.
I thought I was having a small problem with the mute switch so he encouraged me to send it in for a warrantee check-out. As he wasn't sure if the pre had the latest goodies, I sent along a check for $65 to have the shunt regulators worked on. Turns out that they were current, but Stan did increase the idle current, added some bypass caps to the output caps and some other goodies.
I figured that was $65 well spent, as he claimed that the good things the unit does will get even better (he was right).
However, upon unpacking the preamp when it came back, my $65 check fell out of the box, unscathed!
Throughout the process his communication was excellent and timely.
I know that many other MFGs on this forum give comparably excellent service, but excellent service this remains and I wanted to publicly thank Stan and tell the world about it too!
