I have Canary CA-300 amps (300b SET) running into Cain and Cain Abby's and Bailey sub. My CD player is an MBL and I look forward in the future to get back into  vinyl a bit.

For a preamp I am using an older Canary CA606 (their entry level $1450 unit based on 6922's).

I feel the pre, although very easy to listen too, is a bit to relaxed,  slow and lacks low level dynamics.

I am curious of peoples thoughts about the T8 in this combination. Low listening level Dynamics and Detail are critically important.

I have not heard your preamp.  I have heard some Canary amps and preamps along with some Mactone , Levenson and Art gear.   I just got the Ultra preamp and it has way more low level dynamics along with more realistic detail.  It over all ability to produce life like people in my sound room is amazing.
