Nope,  neither Montreal nor New York,  but definitely Denver !!!  And I am pretty pissed about this,  because Montreal has always been a couple of days vacation in a city that I love.

I am still not in a position to make the trip out there(always drive, with the gear in the van),  carry everything into the hotel,  set it up,  stand for 10 hours / 3 days,  and then do all of it in reverse.  Just can't do it.  My shoulder / neck doesn't allow me to,  still from the car accident last October.

Actually,  I'll have to see 2 surgeons,  one a Neurosurgeon in the next 10 days,  and probably have a couple of surgeries done.  AAaaaaaaargh.

So,  Denver it is,  comes hell or high water,

Klaus

PS.  Guys,  please don't drink and drive.
MADD  looks better and better to me.

Klaus, I'll be attending RMAF again this year. Let me know if you need a hand with things.

I am with you Jim.
Klaus, I am also hoping to return to Denver this October and if you need any help, please do not be shy to ask!
I just returned from a wonderful weekend in Montreal and there were quite a few times during the weekend that mind drifted towards thinking about you.  I heard some great sounds in a number of rooms, but there was an empty room in the hotel that would have benefited from Odyssey!
I truly hope that you feel better quickly.  This is ridiculous.
I remember when my wife and I saw you on Sunday morning in Denver and we knew right away that something had happened to you.
You should have gone to the hospital and let some of the ACers take over.  It would have been our pleasure!

Klaus,

I have had back pain for 20 years. Sometimes I wish I had I'd had an operation but most days are fine. I have several friends that have gone under the knife and I can tell you that none of them are as well as I am presently. I'd think twice about that step. With the injury you might need the operation, especially if you have cracked vertebra, but do gather all the doctors together and make your own choice don't let one talk you into it.

Part of dealing with back pain is understanding how the muscles can make the pain better or worse. You're dead right... one of the biggest problems is either standing too long or remaining in one position too long.

I get why you'd have an issue with your gear moving it around. I'm going to call you this weekend and setup a time soon to pick up the three channel. Then I'll have one rack that weighs in around 200 Lbs. all filled with Stratos amps. I sure wouldn't want to drag that about for setups. Time to get a show room dude and spruce up the web site. :)

Wish you well and thanks,

Doug Sharp
