I'm going to try some Sylvania GB 5687's in my Modwright SWL 9.0SE and was wondering if it's preferable to buy gold pins over the nickel. Tubeworld has a pair of gold pins that are used but still tests good and also a pair of nickel pins that are NOS. I'm a novice when it comes to tubes so I was wondering which pair would be the better choice. They have different colors of print too - green, gold, and yellow. What's the difference?
