What's a Solid State stylus cleaner????

I was confused by this ad's terminology:  I'm fairly certain there aren't any tubed stylus cleaners, but I wasn't sure how Solid State fit either.

You'll realize he's talking about a non-liquid cleaner of Jello-like consistency (it's actually a knock-off of Zerodust). "Solid State" isn't the term I'd use.

I purchased one of these and love it. You're right, solid state is a lousy term. It appears to be a very high viscosity liquid, gel like but it does flow slowly.

I feel a lot better about letting my stylus down into this than wacking away at it with a brush.  :o

It's much cheaper than Zerodust too.

The "solid state" phrase  is being used here to describe the physical nature of the goop (solid rather than gaseous or fluid) rather than in an electrical circuit topology context.

I have no problem with it's use.

You guys just have too much hi-fi on your minds

How about "Stylus Snot" ?? Guaranteed to keep your stylus booger-free??

Don't laugh--it's not something to sneeze at! :D
