Oh brother......power cords huh? Buy one that's not too expensive.....you know maybe 4 or 5 bucks. Don't they already come with a power cord? Why change then. I think cables and power cords are the latest "fad" and "trendy" thing to do. Why? beats me. perhaps too many people have extra cash they don't know what to do with. Here's a hint....help out a homelss person or donate to a local charity. makes you feel good and you won't have to keep buying cables to explain your existance........okay I'm done ranting now. Wasn't aimed at just you, but EVERYBODY here. 
Of all of the posts I've read lately this has to be one of the most obnoxious and idiotic. (Until I read some of your other posts).
I don't do anything because it's "trendy" or a "fad". I found that, despite my initial skepticism, that power cords, speaker cables and interconnects can make a dramatic difference in how a system can sound. Sometimes for the worse. God knows why I just wasted my time explaining that to you.
The statement about buying cables to explain my existence... I don't even know what to say about that. Maybe someone else can interpret that one for me because to me it's gibberish. However, it would seem obvious as to what
your existence depends on.
Don't hijack this thread any further, and I would ask anyone else tempted to jump in with a similar post trying to save me from buying cables to "explain my own existence" to please refrain.
