R-DES questions
« on: 30 Mar 2007, 02:00 pm »
Can someone please tell me, what is the highest frquency is that R-DES can adjust? (Highest selectable center frequency)

Also, is there really no significant time delay when using R-DES? Like if you wanted to use it in a bi-amp situation on the woofers only - I'm looking for assurance that there won't be any phase issues introduced with R-DES before the woofer amp.

Thanks

-Mike

Mike:

The time delay isn't an issue. I will check on the center frequency tonight when I get home. Or if someone else has the software in front of them . . . .

Thanks, Mike

If I understand correctly, the R-DES can be used without any low-pass filtering (run full range) if you set the crossover frequency to the highest setting.

True?

Thanks again,

Mike

Mike:

Actually the highest you can set the crossover is 120Hz and you choose between 2nd order or 4th order. There is no crossover "defeat".
