I realy enjoyed this issue especially the article on Joe Pass. I had a chance to sit in a room with probably 8 other guitar players at the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Hollywood in 1981 and Joe entered, sat down and asked us if anyone would like to play with him. We were all in awe of this legend and were too nervous to take advantage of this great opportunity. So we all just looked at each other while Joe blew us away with his jazz chops. He seemed like such a nice person, I wish I would have taken the opportunity that day and played with him.
