My heart goes out to the families of victims of the gruesome massacre at Virginia Tech.

We've had three similar situations in Australia in the last 15 years;  it can happen just about anywhere.

The difference is merely that the gun laws are very tough in Oz, but determined people will always obtain guns regardless.

I earnestly hope no one on this forum has been touched by this tragedy.

I believe the main problem is the parents or lack of...Everyone is going to jump on the gun laws, how about knives, fertilizers, baseball bats, etc, etc...Too bad that NONE of the teachers or other staff did NOT have a CCW...Maybe someone could have ended the ordeal a bit earlier and saved some lives...

Not everyone should be a parent but not everyone should own a gun either .
