OK, here's what I do right now, and here's what I want to do:
* right now I just send the digital out signal from my transport into my DAC just like everybody else does. But my little bitty brain has a scheme, and I want to run it by you all to see what you think.
* take the digital out signal from my sacd player and run it into the DAC for redbook playback. But then take the analog signal and run it thru the analog input on the DAC for SACD playback. Then take the analog output and send it to the preamp. That way I only need to use one input for the whole unit thus freeing up a connection to be used for another device. Does this make sense?
And of course will it work?
