Off Topic - Someplace to eat near Scottrade Center?
«

We are going to the Hockey game tomorrow (friday) and I was wondering if there is anywhere with walking distance of Scottrade Center to eat that is worth a damn. We are taking the Metro over so we are without a Car. Temp is going to be cold so the closer the better.
Otherwise we might just eat before we leave.
Thanks

Well, you've got Union Station a relatively short walk away (maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile). They have quite a few places to eat there. Everything from BBQ to sports bar food to the Hard Rock. After that, I'd be at a loss to suggest anywhere else.

Get off at Union Station. There's the Hard Rock Cafe, Houlihan's, Einstein's Bagels and a few other sit down restaurants. Otherwise there's the food court--Panda Express, Sandwich places, Sbarro etc. It's two block walk to Scottrade from there.

Thanks for the tips. We had thought of Union Station but ended up at the landing as the Metro has the game day ticket that allows you to get on and off all as much as needed until 2 hours after the game for 4bucks.
Went to the brewery down their. Good beer, didn't care for the pizza but my girlfriend's Burger was awesome.
Game was great but it was cold waiting on the train.
THanks again
