right now I'm speaker shopping, and also in no real hurry. The room these will go in is long and 13 feet wide with very tall ceilings. Anyway one brand that's caught my interests offers an optional front porting instead of rear porting. Is there a downfall to going this route? By going with the front port I can move my speakers another two feet away from me, thus give me a better listening angle.
In this room a foot one way or another is a world of difference, and thinking that two feet further away would make a world of difference here.
What do you think?
