Not sure if you guys might be up for this one, but it might be kinda fun to do as a group.

What do you guys think about doing a GAS Trivia Night? Not hosting one but going to one as a group. There are tons of them around the area (both sides of the river) and some of them are All Music trivia.

Here are a couple that are coming up....

Friday, February 23, 2007 - “What’s New Pussycat?” “When Will I See You Again?” Find out at the Brain Injury Association of Missouri’s 2nd Annual “All Music” Trivia Night Fundraiser to help reduce the incidence of brain injury. We’ll have a power point presentation, which includes album covers, artists, lyrics, music, etc. from the 50’s through today. Doors open at 6 p.m. Questions begin at 7 p.m. at Wild Acres Park Gymnasium, 2500 Ashby Rd., Overland Park. $120 per table ($15 per person). Tables seat 8. Great door prizes, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, attendance prizes, prizes for most original table decorations & costumes from your favorite decade. Top 3 tables win $$$ prizes! Soda & snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Alcohol will not be provided; however, you may BYOB. Please call Trudy, 314-426-4024 for more information.

Saturday, March 3, 2007 – Back to the Cause 80's Trivia Night and Dance Party at the City Museum, benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children. 7pm until Midnight. Doors open at 6pm. The first half of the night is an 80's Trivia contest like you've never experienced. All the questions will be about 80's music, events and pop culture, mixed in with an awesome music and video presentation. And not to the forget "The Cause", one of the rounds will center on Shriners Hospital for Children trivia. So make sure you visit www.BacktotheCause.org to get some hints on the trivia. The second half of the night, we are going to dance the night away to all the 80's music you can handle. There will be prizes for the best 80's costume contest, and a live auction with some really cool stuff. Please visit  www.BacktotheCause.org to purchase tickets and for more information!

The all music trivia nights are usually heavily attended by groups of DJ's and hardcore music people trying to win the cash prizes (first, second and third place usually pay out).

So what do you guys think? Its something completely different to do as a group. Sound be loads of fun and who knows, we might actually place or win the event (or you would think we would since music is our passion).

MikeD, the one that we missed cause of the weather, our group came in 2nd with a 92/100.

Myself and " she who must be obeyed" love doing trivia nights. I'm not saying that we are any good but we would be up for it depending on the night.
