:nono:  Hey I live in Chicago; people have died for a lot less than making sport of Polka Albums!  Besides, i bet there are no synthesizers used on the Album.  Just real people making real music.

Also, my man Michael Bishop won for best Engineered Classical album.  He had just put the finishing touches on it, and before it was released gave me a copy and signed it during a personal tour he gave me at Telarc this past fall, while I was checking out their ATC 150's.  very cool!!  8) 8) CONGRATS MICHAEL!!

Does anybody but Jimmy Sturr ever win that category?

For a while I got into the habit of listening to polka on Saturday mornings on the local college station (I think it's an unwritten law that every college station must play polka from 6-9AM on Saturdays).  There are actually some very enjoyable novelty type songs.  "How Married Are You, MaryAnn?" comes to mind.
