When you can sell 50% more of the same product by doubling your prices, who’s the one at fault?  Surely not the entrepreneur, he wants to sell as much as possible.

Don't get me wrong 13 thousand, let alone 13 hundred dollars is just plain ludicrous for a power cord.  But if people are willing to buy them, the entrepreneur has created his own goldmine.  Nothing wrong with that.  We are capitalist society after all.

Before going forward and  about the prices Virtual Dynamics charges on their new Genesis line, please keep in mind the following:
1. The wire is not made of the ordinary copper Mother Nature bestowed upon us with a supernova explosion 5 billion+ years ago. Virtual Dynamics was able to provoke a controlled supernova explosion in their lab to yield this new strain of copper, hence the name of the line: Genesis.
2.The dielectric is made of world's famous Bull Manure TM, of which the whole English speaking community heard.
3. Between the wire and the dielectric there is a coating of snake-oil exactly 1 million molecules thick, to further improve performance.

Now I understand. I just needed someone to explain the pricing to me. All the time, I was under the impression that the snake oil was just a lubricant.
