Bugle PS problem
« on: 4 Feb 2007, 04:02 am »
Been running the Bugle on batteries for a year, but finally got around to finishing the power supply. It sounds good, but am only getting 13.5 millivolts (yes, mv) on the minus side. Plus side is 14.8 volts. Tranny gets very hot after 20 minutes, as does the voltage regulator on minus side. Plus side is cool.

Where should I start?

You have the negative outputs wired backwards.  Shorted to ground.

Ooops! Thanks, Jim - maybe I'll get it right the second time.
