What's the go with SP Technology Email?
« on: 26 Nov 2006, 01:45 am »
Hi All

I have onsold the timepieces I purchased about a year ago; and in preparation for giving Bob and the guys the new delivery instructions I fired off an email.  I got two to actually get through without being returned - one to the staff and one to an address supplied to me by Bob previously - but the rest to customer service, sales etc all failed.

Does anyone know the reason for the email problems?

Thanks
Bill

Maybe Bob is still overwhelmed with the Nuforce S-9 and is just too busy to answer. If not, What is going on? I think all persons interested in the SP lineup would be overjoyed to get an update from either Bob or anyone else associated with the company. Just my opinion.

I am not "associated" with the company but can assure you Bob is still alive and well. I spoke with him a few days ago and yes, he is VERY busy with the Nuforce project. Maybe some of his email folders are full? I don't know.

If you don't already have it, try engineering10@4sptech.com

Call him.

We've all seen what happens when someone asks Bob a technical question here at his circle................. :o...................................... ........ :o ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ............................... :o.................................give him the chance to teach and he won't get anything done.

Hi All

I eventually got through to Bob and sold my speakers.  Indeed he is alive and well and very busy on the new project.  The new owner has promised to let us know what he thinks so look forward to some interesting posts.

Thanks
Bill

bhobba, "the new owner"? The new owner of your speakers or does SP Technology have a new owner? What new project?

seadogs1,

He's referring to the Timepieces.  We're all still here...one foot in the grave maybe - but here.

Christof,

Thanks man, I think

Friends,

Sorry I haven't been around much.  Most of you already know the drill, but for those that don't...rest assured, I've been a bit busy lately.  Just to give you an idea, check around the circle here to see how many other manufacturers are building and shipping  a "very difficult to engineer, build and finish - and never done before" product from in-house, completely from scratch, while having to engineer and build their own equipment needed to make it...again, from scratch.  Then find out how many are building 15 to 20 pair per month with only 4 full-time and 2 part-time people.  THEN...find out how many have to gear up to produce 30+ pair per month and only have 1 month to do it in while they're still building product!!! Now you know where I've been living and what I've been up to lately. :o  Either I'll end up rich, dead or the biggest fool that ever lived. :banghead: Who's betting?

Sorry about the e-mail too.  Once I get my head above water we're switching to a new hosting company.  Just for your info, CI Host sucks! :cuss:

Take care all,
-Bob

The above document is written by Bob. I posted here to show you guys what he has to go through to get to where we are today.  As we explained, these are not mass production and cheap MDF wood with veneer cover. From a stack of plywood to this piece of beauty and all made by a few guys in Indiana, USA.

Hi All

Just a note for Bob that the guy who purchased the speakers from me has been trying to get a hold of you for a delivery update.

Thanks
Bill
