Under Getz, you must add "Pure Getz".

Under Monk, you must add "Straight, No Chaser".

Both are my favorite recording by each artist.

Both also have excellent SACD versions.

Dianne Reeves, I Remember...if there's a better female jazz vocal cd please please let me know.

BTW, why does virtualy everyone pronounce Louis Armstrong's name L-E-W-EE when the artist pronounces his own name L-E-W-I-S?  "Hello, Dolly, this is L-E-W-I-S, Dolly..."  Quite strange that even professional critics & jazz musicians mispronounce it.  Actually, the only reason I know is someone got me hooked on the movie Hello Dolly-one of the best directed & coreographed movies ever (Gene Kelly), & quite funny.  WATCH IN WIDESCREEN ONLY!  "Lewis" is great in the finale!

Louis (Louiee) is the Kings English (or French as chance would have it). This goes back to to his birthplace, New Orleans, originally a French settlement. Remember, it's King Louiee the XIV, not King Lewis the XIV.

Same would stand true to the proper pronunciation of Louisiana and my hometown of St Louis (Mo.). Except here is St Lewis, nobody uses the nasally pronunciation of the word Saint as the French do. For that matter, nobody uses Louiee they use Lewis.
