IIRC Brian recommended 2" thick polyfill on all walls. So, that is what I did and I'm very happy with it.

With your RAW ICE lining the cabinet walls ,I would just add a small 12oz bag of poly you can get from Wal-Mart and you will be set.

All the best Will

I will add more pictures as soon as I get a chance.  I will need to open it up to show you the insides.  The Ice Dampening Foam completely lines the inside.  Very nice stuff and easy to use.  I have enough left for a few future projects...

The wife was totally surprised by the 30Hz heartbeat at the beginning of Pink Floyd's DSOTM, along with the bass in a number of other tracks.  So far, this is sounding really good.  The Vibebuster 8 spikes have not arrived yet, but I hope they come in by this weekend.    :(

This is the best bass I have heard in my theater, bar none - even before calibration.  I should have it calibrated with RDES by this weekend.

I have just finished building a Rythmik Audio Servo Subwoofer Kit #1 from Rythmik Audio.  The sub can be found here at www.rythmikaudio.com.

Let's just say I am impressed.  I am currently in step three of bossobass's setup guide.

Mains, pretty much the same as before.

Subwoofer.

And the current combined plot.  NOTE:  I have applied absolutely NO EQ.  This is just done after the level-matching stage of Bossobass's setup guide.

Now adding +10 at 70 Hz using my receiver's tone controls...

and easing off the subwoofer a little bit....

I do want to hear what you think of the sound quality now that you've owned it and used it for a few days. Plus it should be breaking in somewhat by now.

The RDES unit is a very nice little device.  It's easy to use and effective. Let me know what you think of the before and after difference please. Thanks
