Just saw that you are a member of the steering committee.  I think that JohnR's decision to move to a more democratic governance is a good one.  I appreciate you taking the time and effort to tending to this great site.   

I know you will be an excellent steward for us ALL.... I just hope it doesn't take a bite out of your riding time.

Aw, shucks, many thanks - this comes at a time when much of my R&D is nearing completion and I can probably spend the time without too much penalty.

There are some very angry people out there and I don't look forward to pacifying some of them, however...... but I can see John needs a bit of input from others around.

Should we suggest you, as well Jim?

a level headed intelligent guy like you fits the bill, Hugh!  I think with JohnR's public apology and move to democratic governance, he has already moved towards reconciliation .... as for me- I did  think of it but John TCG, already had a couple of volunteers from the masses before I could volunteer myself, thank god  .

it is an often thankless job so I just wanted to convey my thanks and appreciation upfront!
