I have no experience with either product, but i recomend giving Mikrosmooth a try (or a re-try). its the only product on the market that removes surface imperfections that are inherent to all optical media...most others simply cover them up (filling in the valleys).
The other products address the same issue, but in a fundamentally different way - they add chemicals to the optical surface to fill in the imperfections. And they need to re-applied periodically i think...
The mfgr instructions for Mikrosmooth are a bit off...you can damage discs by following them. I simply rinse the yellow applicator pad before every application & this removes or softens any particles that might scratch the optical surface...and ONLY use Viva paper towels. i haven't scratched a CD or DVD in several years with this practice, and use the same moist yellow pad for hundreds of discs.
Also, lots of good info about Liquid Rez on audioasylum...its expensive but seems to be a favorite. From what i've read, the L'art du son & Walker products have steep competition.
i'm not a dealer but have been using MS on all my Netflix DVD's, studio CD's and prior to burning blank media.
