As most of you now know we will have six meetings a year.
Starting in Jan. we will have one meeting every other month.
The meetings will also alternate, one meeting on Saturday
the next on Sunday, and so on.  All meetings are held at the
Randall Museum.  They begin at 1:00 PM and end at 5:00 PM.

We have not had a meeting in several months due to the Line
Stage Construction Project at the Randall.  At our last regular
meeting we listened to amps with a 45 output Tube.  Our next
meeting will be very different.  The 300B in a DRD circuit has
been a favorite with our DIY members.  At our next meeting
we will listen to three pairs of different DRD amps.  The first
one will be an original with no mods.  The second one will be
a DRD with a few simple mods.  The third will be a DRD with
many mods.  This should be a very interesting meeting.

WHY:  To hear three versions of the Randall II Amp

Somewhere close to 30 members have built the Randall II, 300B
DRD Amps.  Some of these members have modified their Amps.
We will compare 3 sets of Amps.  An un-modified pair from
Chris Boettcher, an extensively modified set from Alex Deveza,
and one set half way between from Edwin Yang.  Both Edwin
and Alex will give short talks on their mods.  I can tell you that
Alex has the New 300B Mesh Plates from China, 6H30P drivers,
and James O/P transformers with Paper in Oil Ultra path caps.
