I just installed 6.5.1. It all went fine, but I want to continue to use the firmware vesion that was already installed on my SB3. How do I tell Slimserver to stop alerting me to install the latest firmware?

You need to edit <path to slimserver install>/Firmware/squeezebox2.version and replace all instances of the current FW with the one you want. You must have your preferred FW file in the Firmware directory, also. Then restart (or start) slimserver.

Thanks gitarretyp, that did it.

mcgsxr, I already have mgalusha's Firmware Selector, but I wasn't sure if even selecting the one already installed wouldn't reinstall it, which I did not want to do.
