hey nathan,

What are the differences between your systems and the michael green audio sytems that
look very similar?     do your products employ the 'horn loading' technique mentioned by MGA?

Drats!  A shame none are black.  I have Adapt corners and a ton of Response seams...upgrading to Adapt Rectangles would be nice, but my cave is too dark for white.

Well, Nathan can chime in but I'll say the MG stuff is nothing like the Adapts.  The Responses and the MGs do share a common lineage; they're sort of bean-bag-like pillows, reflective sonically on one side.  The Adapts are a whole 'nuther animal, much more advanced.

Hi Nathan,
Even tho we've emailed already, I thought I'd make an offical request for your Adept Rectangle Version 2 if it's still available. At least this way if it's not, you can shut down this sale of 3 months ago and save someone else their time to inquire on them.   :D

Thanks Nathan for getting back to me. Like Rob said, these Adapt Rectangles are awesome, they really put the Response Rectangles in the back seat. I should know as I have a 4-set of both! I really can't remark or compare 8th Nerve with other companies acoustic products but I do know my listening room has been enhanced 10-fold thanks to these Adapt Rectangles. I consider Room Treatment to be an audio component that every serious audiophile needs to have,,,, period! Thanks Nathan.  :thumb:

Hey guys,

I can't agree more that, for me, room treatments have brought about a lot more musical enjoyment...they were the cheapest component of my system that ever gave me the 'wow!' factor...

When i 1st realized I needed them, my budget was tight so i bought the Deluxe Romm Tunes kit.  Even though most of you probably don't have experience with the product i own, can someone wax poetic on the audible difference between the Response & Adept products?

I like the look of corner triangles and strips versus large panels, so 8th Nerve is the only firm's products i'd consider upgrading too in the near future.

What i noticed after installing the MGA treatments in my room was decay of notes, strong-tight-musical bass and an overall enlarging of the soundtage and 3-d fleshing out of the musicians.  Would these attirbutes change with better engineered/designed treatments??

next weekend i'm going to check out a fellow AC meember's system in the burbs, he's spent as much on 8th Nerve Adept pieces as my whole system is worth, should be enlightening...

Just my thoughts,,, it's been awhile but I remember a clarity gain with the Response, like the music was less cloudy which made it more clearer. (not too poetic, hea? :dunno:) But with the Adapts being placed on the wall/ceiling corners, I observed not only those clarity gains but a depth gain that makes my 11' x 17' room seem much more spacious. It's this depth perception that bowled me over. I'm just guessing here but I think it's due to absorbing qualities of the Adapts back that's soaking up the offsetting soundwaves from the wall/ceiling while the front surface of the Adapt reacts totally different, like a dispersion surface. I have no doubts that it's a night/day difference between the 2 products. I have my Response Rectangles on the wall corners now but I'd love to convert them to Adapts. Gotta draw the strings somewhere tho. Must save some $$$ for music afterall.  :D
