Hmmm... Silver/Black SB3's no longer available?

Have finally decided to take the plunge and get into this Bolder-modded Squeezebox business - just can't resist the urge any longer! However, when I go to the SlimDevices website, they appear to only have two versions of the SB3 available: the Black version and the White version. I have seen numerous pictures of an SB3 with a silver front and black backplate - is this version no longer available?

IIRC they all have a silver front panel - it is the rear case which denotes black or white.

Hurry, hurry, hurry - you won't be disapponted!

mine is a gun metal very dark grey below the readout window, that part is metal the rest of it is plastic. it seemed I only had 2 choices I ordered a month ago, black or white.

anyway it is very dark grey, most importantley the thing is incredible endless fun, with a good DAC and PS really really nice. I wish maybe I had mine sent strait to Bolder for at laest the digi upgrade cause now I can't part with it.

I just got my white one yesterday. You can only tell it is white from the back which doesn't matter to me at all. The remote is bright white but oh well. I was pleased to see the silver and black front face on my white SB3 when it arrived. Now to figure out mods, power supply, and DAC.....

I have a silver/black, and had it fully modded by Wayne (thanks again!).

I LOVE the black/black ones - I might even replace the cover of mine, with carbon, in order to get closer to that look!

I highly recommend the Bolder digital mods..very very cost-effective. The reduction in jitter is very perceptible (unless you have a DAC that has bigtime jitter reduction built in, like the Lavry).
