So how about taking some well-meaning advice and redo your site for 2007? To answer HOGG: The speakers are a joy, (a long and painfull running-in period that is still going on) My system is modest but interesting: a heavily modded MArantz cdp 67, IC's by DH Labs, spkr wires are solid core from Singapore. The amusing part is my vintage Hitachi amp, modded by yours truly. I must post a picture of this unlikely animal if I can find a way to illuminate it's unremitting blackness. I am nervously awaiting the return of my Mardis modded Trend t-amp. If it sounds as good or better than the Hitachi I will be a happy camper. I am dubious. The H. has 60 watts and serious iron to back them up but it's the first watt that counts n'est ce pas? Having the flu, I'm going to spend this night on the coach with the volume turned up.
