Is there a way to identify(preferably externally) the revisions of the stratos amplifier? How can I tell if the amp is the latest revision?

Audion,
With all the revisions that have been done to various amps thru the years,I doubt that there's a reliable way to tell mods from the exterior. Best way is to call Klaus with your serial # in hand. Only the Boss knows for sure. : :D

Have it been done a lot of changes to the amp since it was reviewed by TAS and soundstage.com? If so, what have been done? Are the reviews still relevant? Are there sonic differences between a seven year old Stratos and a new one?

Soedal,
There's many here that know a lot more about these amps than I ever will, but,I believe through the years there's been changes to the trannies, boards, and perhaps wiring. Now,there are different mods done to the basic Stratos Stereo listed on Eduardos website, for example, and then Klaus will perhaps do other little things depending on his communication with the perspective owner for best synergy.

Are the older reviews still relevent? I haven't heard enough versions of the Stereo Stratos thru the years to comment for sure,BUT,my opinion would be the "family" sound has probably been refined, but not whole house changed. Every amp change is still listened to by the same pair of ears,so.......

My personal experience is like others, from Stereo to Monos,to modded Monos.
Hope this is of some small help.
