Quality Debate: MP3 or FM Broadcast?

OK.  I was wasn't really "debating", but was telling Den how impressed I was with the sound quality coming from 128 KPBS streams through my Squeezebox.

So we sorta got into this debate of which is better in quality.  So here I am in flesh and blood.  Lay it on me!  I need to be enlightened!

Bit rate is just one part of the equation.

Which is better? It depends. Neither is fit to do what I would call "critical listening." Both can be completely enjoyable.
