HTFR is now complete
« on: 25 Nov 2006, 05:11 am »
Well the demand for our full range RAW FR with a little more low end frequency response is now finished.
The HTFR made the RMAF show in Denver, with a very good response from those who had a chance to have a listen to them with most of the time went to the HT8 and HT3.(by requests)

The HTFR uses  the full range driver in the top of the cabinet with the side firing woofer the same as our HT3.
Over all the cabinets look the same but differ in the contruction.

Above is the measured Frequency response for the HTFR in room response.
The mic was set at a height of 40" off the floor at a distance of 65" from the speaker
-The Yellow line, was taken on full range speaker on axis with the mic at 40" from the floor ,at a distance of 65"
-The second line the red one, was taken with the mic moved to 15 degrees off axis "horizontally with magnetic grills attached to the full range speaker
Notice the small amount of off axis upper end roll (from the full range speaker with NO TWEETER) of less than 5db at 20k at 15 degrees off axis with the magnetic grills attached.
-remeber this is a full range speaker with a roll off to match the lower frequency driver. No tweeter is used, not bad for a 4.5" full range speaker.

The kit for these is not hard to build.
$499.99 with magnetic grills included that attach to the full range driver. For those of us who must have the complete look.
