I have the fostex fe166e drivers in the recommended back loaded horn cabinets and although my el84 amp sounds damn fine with them, Blackmore's 2A3 is absolutely stunning. I think the 2A3 and the fostex drivers are a mighty fine match and that is the direction I am going also as soon as I can find the time to build the amp. I also have a pair of the fe166esr special edition drivers but haven't had a chance to do anything with them yet although I am quite anxious to do so, I may thry them OB.

sounds like the alder wood fits in perfectly.  They certainly are cool looking. 

hey Scott, can we all bring one component to your house and go from there?

Deadfish- i'm sure I can dig up a cd player or 10 to trade for the Bryston.
not quite sure if that would be a fair trade though.
