VMPS and Alephs

Has anyone tried the Alephs (especially the 1.2 or 2) with any of the VMPS speakers (especially the RM40) with classical music? What did you think? Thanks.

Heard the 40's with the Aleph 30W amp at my dealer in Washington DC, Dynamic Sound.  Wonderful sound.  Talk to Lucius at 202-726-3941 if you have more questions.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the VMPS Circle.  I think Brian has pushed the right button.  Also I have seen others post of using the Pass Amps on VMPS with favorable results.

I've owned the 40's and have heard the Aleph 1.2 numerous times on separate occassions (not with the RM40's though).  The Aleph is a warm sounding amp that would go well with the RM40's in my opinion.  I've not heard the 2's.  Depending on how loud you listen 100w might be just fine, though Classical is very dynamic the extra headroom of the 1.2 might be useful.  Either way, these amps get HOT.

I had the X250 with my 40's and the combination was excellent.
