Ok... I've finally got around to updating the web site with the UcD180 options.    I had to play around with some pricing, some lower and some higher.    The basic kit price for the UcD400s went up because I failed to realize I hadn't priced the transformer in my spreadsheet.   Early adopters got a little discount.    The price for the finished versions on the multichannel builds has come down based upon actual labor time.   I made some adjustments in options and other little web corrections.

On another note we have finalized the mono-block platform.    I've ordered prototype parts and placed the PO for the first production run of the chassis.    These were originally designed at a UcD700 platform but we made them universal to work with the UcD400 & UcD180 also.    Size is standard 2U height (about 3.5") and two of them sit next to each other fitting in a standard rack space (under 17").    We had to stretch them a little at 16" deep to get the huge UcD700 power supply into the chassis.   Overall... it looks killer though.    These should be ready before Christmas so you better be good.   aa   I don't have finalized pricing yet but expect the kit version of the UcD700AD to land around $2K a pair.    I'll build them for the non-inclined for an additional $300/pr.

The UcD700 is Hypex's "cost is not an object" design using what they have learned from the lower power modules.   There are several features outside of just the power to improve sound quality so they should represent what Bruno & Jan-Peter feel can be done with UcD technology.   The layout & surrounding parts are my input.

I think the UcD700AD monos make the most sense..... you don't spend much more and you get a lot.
