I have a pair of CDWG 626's arriving shortly, and my question is since the spiral tweeter crosses over higher, would the crossover mod( passive eq), be necessary? They haven't been de-horned but being spirals I was hoping a click or two on the L-pad would suffice. Thanks.

Unfortunately the HF rolloff from the CDWG cannot be compensated for by increasing tweeter level.  However, the spiral ribbon can be dehorned just like the FST with similar results.  Just follow the instructions on the Forum sticky.
