Got my SME tonearm back from being re-wired

Playing vinyl again. Man was I sick of my CD's!
Cardas shielded cable and RCA's continuous from the cartridge connectors to the Cornet.
Wasn't just a tweak. Litz wires had broken 'cause the base assembly with it's cheap OEM RCA's had broken loose of it's mounting. All that's gone  and I'm hearing a much better defined soundstage and quieter backgrounds.

Which tonearm did you have re-wired, and where did you send it?  I'm guessing (if its continuous from clips to Cornet) that it isn't one of the removable arm-wand types

I have an SME III in need of the same treatment!  There are two problems with this arm: (i) the removable wand so you can't have a continuous run, and (ii) the wand itself is a @#$%* to disassemble without damage.  I've been looking a long time to find someone who can do this job.  Please tell me more!

Yeah, sure, you wanna discuss tonearm improvements?  Ok.  Anything to help our phono guys out.

Alfred Kayser, the KR Audio importer re-wires, repairs and generally re-furbishes SME arms. He charges $175US to re-wire Series 2 with Cardas cable and RCA's.
I'm sure he would know what to do with your series 3 arm. He's in Toronto and advertises on Audiogon.
